Welcome to Recovery Rowan County, a compassionate and community-driven 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering a Recovery Ready community in Morehead, Kentucky. Founded in 2022, our mission is to create a supportive environment that empowers individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders.

At Recovery Rowan County, we believe in the transformative power of community support and understanding. Our mission is to provide comprehensive resources, education, and advocacy to individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. Through collaboration and partnerships, we aim to build a Recovery Ready community where every person is valued, supported, and offered a pathway to sustainable recovery.
Community
Located in the heart of Morehead, Kentucky, Recovery Rowan County serves as a hub for recovery-focused initiatives. Our physical presence in the community allows us to connect with individuals and families, understand their unique needs, and tailor our services to create a positive and lasting impact.
Funding & Partnerships
We are proud to be funded by a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant, in collaboration with the Northeast Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and the Northeast Kentucky Substance Use Response Coalition. These partnerships allow us to leverage resources and expertise to enhance the impact of our programs and services.
Our Approach
Recovery Rowan County adopts a holistic approach to recovery, addressing not only the immediate challenges but also the underlying factors that contribute to substance use disorders. Through a combination of evidence-based practices, community engagement, and personalized support, we strive to break down barriers to recovery and promote long-term wellness.

Meet Our
Executive Director
Kaylah Patton
Kaylah was born and raised in Rowan County and graduated from Rowan County Senior High School. She earned a degree in Business from Maysville Community and Technical College, and considers herself a lifetime learner. She is always seeking additional ways in which she can help to support and advocate for others. I have been in recovery since 2019, graduated from an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in 2020, and earned my Adult Peer Support Specialist certification in 2023. I have been absolutely honored and humbled to have been chosen to be the ED of RRC, and am so excited to see what the future holds for us and the awesome recovery community that we have in Morehead.
